It is now, being an ex-student of Rosary Junior College that I realise more than ever what a great college it is. The college moulded us in such a way that we passed out capable of facing any worldly challenge that comes our way. Along with knowledge, the teachers inculcated a sense of discipline, which I deeply appreciate now. Trying to put into words what I owe to my teachers. I would like to dedicate this poem to them.
No Printed words, nor spoken plea,
Can teach minds what they should be.
Not all the books on the shelves,
But what the teachers are among themselves.
They mould the nation by moulding the plastic nation of youth.
They do more than teach facts;
They do more than fill minds;
They inspire growth.
They light candles of greatness,
To dissolve the darkness of ignorance and fear,
They are quiet workers building the foundation of tomorrow.
